Surprisingly good. Linda Howard has not been doing it for me lately, I hated the Blair Mallory books, and some of the others have been strangely compelling in a what-to-do-if-you're-in-a-plane-crash-on-a-mountain kind of way, but this one was actually good. I liked the MC's, the set-up, and the bear. Check out the cover though - does it say "run for your life through a raging storm from a killer AND a killer bear"? No, no, it doesn't.
